Separately Managed Account

The Separately Managed Account (SMA) structure is transparent and flexible, enabling our clients to access and review accounts at their own discretion. At Seaport we set up an individual account for our client at Charles Schwab and the client grants Seaport trading authority over that account. In an SMA, the client's Schwab account holds the actual securities purchased according to the Seaport strategy and the client can access and review his/ her account directly through the Schwab internet portal. We have highly personalized service, and our goal is for our clients to have the peace of mind that their assets are being managed in a thoughtful and consistent manner.

Seaport Investment Partners

We seek absolute returns through strategic investment in private equity, private debt, and a portfolio of hedge funds/outside managers. Alternative investments, whether through hedge funds or private partnerships, can be an integral part of a client portfolio. We pay special attention to the correlation between asset classes and strategies, recognizing that a multi-strategy portfolio with low correlation between asset classes will usually lower overall portfolio volatility and increase expected returns. A long term, diversified program of investments across real estate, hedge fund strategies and private equity can add significant investment benefits to an investment portfolio.

Seaport Wealth Management LLC. d/b/a Seaport Investment Partners (“Seaport”) respects the confidentiality of our clients, and we are committed to safeguarding your privacy. We understand your concerns about protecting the confidentiality of your personal and account information, and we want to assure you that we place a high priority on maintaining the privacy of such information.

Collection of Personal Data

To serve you better and manage your business, it is necessary that we collect and maintain information about you and your account. Generally, we obtain this information from material you provide to us and from reports regarding transactions for your account provided by third parties. For example, we obtain:

Personal information such as your address, phone number, date of birth and social security number, and other personal documents you submit to us;

Security transaction reports from brokers who execute trades for your account; and account valuation information from the custodian who holds the assets we manage for you.

Information Disclosure

We do not provide your personal information to any other affiliated or non-affiliated third party unless permitted by law or you specifically ask us to do so. Permitted disclosures include the provision of transaction information to both the custodian for your assets and brokers who execute trades for your account. In addition, if you so direct us, we will provide information about your account to your accountant, attorney or other financial service provider.

Protection/Security of Personal Information

Employees of Seaport have an obligation to keep client personal information confidential and to use it solely for the purpose of performing services on behalf of your account. We also have procedures in place to maintain the physical and electronic security of the information we collect about you and your account.
